Terms and conditions

This agreement sets out the terms and conditions relating to our work together.

  1. The following are the trading names of Sandra Schroeter:

    Sandra Schroeter Hypnotherapy

    Sandra Schroeter Executive Leadership Training

    all of which are the intellectual property of Sandra Schroeter. They may not be used or any coaching content referred to in any form without the prior written consent of Sandra Schroeter. All rights and remedies are reserved.

  2. The “client” is any person or organisation that attends, orders or uses any of the therapy and coaching services and products of Sandra Schroeter.

  3. Sandra Schroeter offers a range of personal and professional services and products including hypnotherapy, meditations, workshops, and training courses using techniques including hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), breath work, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Havening.

    All services and products are provided for educational purposes only and are designed to help clients to make changes in their behaviour, thinking and emotions. These services and products are provided to clients without prejudice and will hereafter be referred to as “coaching”.

  4. These terms and conditions are unequivocal and supersede any qualifications made by any client whatsoever at any time in any medium.

  5. Any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The client agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with any coaching.

    All coaching is pending trademark registration under international copyright law.

  6. All coachings are educational health programmes and should be used complementary to and not instead of conventional medical advice or treatments the client may be undergoing.

    The client confirms that they know of no reason why they should not receive hypnotherapy and that they have not been advised against receiving it by any healthcare professional. The client accepts that it is their responsibility to ascertain suitability for treatment from their healthcare professional.

    It is recommended that the client seeks the advice of a qualified healthcare professional if they have questions related to their mental or physical health, or medical conditions.

    It is the client’s responsibility to keep Sandra Schroeter informed of any relevant health issues that may have a bearing on the efficacy and safety of their coaching before, between and during appointments.

    If appropriate or required, Sandra Schroeter would liaise between clients and their healthcare professional. In the event that Sandra Schroeter believes that a client’s best safeguarding interests are not served, Sandra Schroeter reserves the right to cancel the provision of any coaching without prejudice.

  7. Sandra Schroeter makes her best effort to help clients effect change by addressing the issues presented by the client. Because of the nature of the coaching offered, Sandra Schroeter does not guarantee progress or outcomes. A lack of results will not be deemed grounds for any refunds or any claims.

    The principle of caveat emptor applies to all orders.

  8. There are slight risks associated with any psychological services including the services and products offered by Sandra Schroeter. During the coaching, there may be reasons to review some unpleasant memories or to experience some uncomfortable emotions. The client acknowledges that making personal changes through coaching sometimes requires learning by trial and error and some confusion or setbacks may occur in the process. The client acknowledges and agrees to accept these potential risks.

  9. Sandra Schroeter keeps client notes in accordance with UK data protection regulations. All client information including notes is confidential and may only be made available to a third party in exceptional circumstances such as when demanded by a court or the police, or when informed of criminal, illegal or immoral intent or events.

  10. With the client’s permission, Sandra Schroeter may use their testimony for promotion and marketing purposes.

  11. Training courses and workshops may be recorded for ongoing educational and commercial purposes. All attendees agree to the release of such recordings without any claims to remuneration.

  12. The cost of each coaching session or package of sessions is agreed prior to commencement of the first session. Payment is due prior to the first session.

    All invoices are payable within 7 days of presentation. Any queries must be made in writing and emailed to sandra@hypnolicious.com within 2 days of presentation or as detailed on the invoice.

  13. Appointments can bebooked on the hour and on the half hour.Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to ensure every client’s confidentiality.

  14. The client is responsible for their travel arrangements and arriving on time for their appointment. Should a client arrive late for their appointment Sandra Schroeter will make reasonable efforts to provide a full session at her discretion.

  15. Should it be agreed that the appointment will be held at the client’s premises, travel costs and time will be charged. The total will be agreed before the session and confirmed in writing. The client will be responsible for providing a safe and uninterrupted place of work.

  16. Please give 48 hours notice via email to sandra.schroeter@outlook.com if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Clients cancelling an appointment within the 48-hour window will be liable for 50% of the standard coaching charge for the appointment cancelled.

  17. Clients failing to show for their appointment forfeit their right to the session missed. No refunds will be offered for missed or unused appointments, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Sandra Schroeter.

  18. Sandra Schroeter reserves the right to halt or cancel coaching without prejudice for any reasonable cause. Examples of reasonable causes include persistent cancellations or lateness, rudeness, violence or threat, and conflicts of interest. Clients will not be eligible for refunds.

  19. Should there be a need for Sandra Schroeter to cancel or reschedule a client’s appointment for any reason whatsoever including illness and unforeseen circumstances, Sandra Schroeter will make reasonable efforts to give adequate prior notice. The client acknowledges that Sandra Schroeter does not accept any costs or claims for travel, inconvenience or any other aspect related to cancelled or rescheduled appointments. Cancellations are made without prejudice and are not grounds for cessation of programmes or any claims.

  20. To protect Sandra Schroeter’s copyright, the client agrees to refrain from reporting, recording or copying of the coaching. The client acknowledges and agrees to pay a fee of a minimum £1,000 for each reporting event that is in breach of this term.
